Well do I have a story for you and photos to follow. 3 weeks ago a nice family called with baby bunnies that had gon THROUGH the roto-tiller - oy! What can you do for them? Well they brrught them over - and gag! I didn't even have the heart to take photos. Baby bunnies (maybe 5 days old) vs. roto-tiller is not a good match. Well I took them in and did my best (and tried not to gag) well I am happy to report 3 weeks later I have 3 of the 4 all at 100% and running around the bunny pen - who would have thunk it? I'll take more photos soon and I owe you all some cute little videos - take care and good night!

Where did the time go? Well lets get you caught up on all the rescues - so much is going on where do I begin? Well our Raccoon Troop is growing - 5 baby raccoons are in the rescue. Elwood joined Jake from a local Animal Shelter, Friends of Strays as well as a sweet little girl named Bubbles that from a great family that saved her when her mom was killed. Thanks to all who take the time to rescue, Like the story about the Old man, the Boy and the star fish - "it matters to this one" is oh so true. Well a picture tells a 1000 words so lets begin.
Well the baby raccoons are growing and starting to be fun! My nights are full of baby raccoon chortles and purrs. Saturday a new baby joined us - Jake a solo rescue from a family in Rock Falls. He's a bit older but is enjoying his new troop. He loves to play and kick back in the coonie hammock.
Rexy, Holly GoLightly, Lucky & Chip are all having a blast in the release cage, gosh they are growing. The Kewanee 3 (Molly, her brother Daryl and her other brother Daryl) are still playing in Geneseo, squirrels & cheap digital camera don't mix - lots of photos of tails!
