BIOGRAPHY
Missy is an unfortunate story. Her human lost his wife of many years and adopted her 7 years ago to heal his heart. She was his constant companion and love o his life, she spent every day all day just getting cuddled and loved. Then one very sad day her human died, she was all alone. Sadly - the family did not want her and took her to the vet to be rid of her. This happens so many times it doesn't even surprise us anymore. She sat in her crate full of fear and confusion, but our wonderful vet convinced the people to let us take and find a home. Our vet donated her spay and all her veterinary care/vaccines/tests.
She was terrified at the vet and at first here. She snapped, shook in fear and was a wreck. My heart hurt so bad for her. Her whole world was destroyed. But in time she came around. She started playing and being oh so silly. She meanders the gardens like a posh lady, sniffing and greeting all that she meets. She needs seems to prefer women for sure, and a stay at home person - retired - would be the very best pairing.
