Many may remember our love story of Diego the Mammoth Jack Donkey we rescued - a gentle old soul and his love of a little goat named Spatz. In 2017-2018 you could visit the rescue and these 2 would be wandering around loose just enjoying life. They loved each-other so much and taught us that it doesn't matter age or animal - love heals. Diego was often sick, and little Spatz the goat would never leave his side. Sadly Diego passed in 2018 with his little buddy curled up giving him kisses. At the rescue we learn so much that Love is love
