Frankie Wolsfeld and his wife Karla have been amazing over the years supporting this little rescue. In fact we wouldn't be here with out Frankie and his team at F.I.S.T. When Nancy had cancer and was out of work for a year, it was because of Frankie and his team that a giant fundraiser was organized and the rescue was saved. It was a blessing that when Nancy recovered, not only was the rescue better, bigger and stronger, she went back to work a year later with zero debt and all the hospital bills paid. Lori Dean - our amazing friend at Walmart DC Spring Valley, has over and over organized loads of pet food and supplies from the Damages Department. We have for years picked up pallets many many pallets of damaged pet food and donated it back to the community to 11 local food pantries along with fellow rehabbers. Its been a beautiful partnership over the past 3 years. We have been blessed by their generosity and Lori's keen sense of coordinating and have been able to give away over $35,000 in pet food weighing in at over 27000 pounds! Now that's a lot of pet food. We hope we can continue this important partnership - oh my and lets not forget the amazing video games, BBQ grills and TVs they have donated to our rescue for fundraising $1000s of dollars have been raised with these crazy big donations!!!!
